Built on the outskirts of the city, the archaeological site of Centcelles is nowadays widely accepted to have been a Mausoleum due to its main structure with a central dome decorated with mosaic. The existence of a well-preserved underground chamber built on two levels housing the sepulchre reinforces this theory.
